Implementation

The CSP user interface is written in Microsoft Silverlight 4, a leading web-based software platform. It offers a tight integration with the host company's IT systems via a custom designed functionality layer written in ASP.NET 4 that handles all data retrieval, manipulation and updates. This layer is independent of both the Silverlight interface and the company's IT systems structure and offers, as such, many interesting ways to access all the company's data and process it in a new way.

This implementation offers, for instance, the possibility of a seamless replacement of backend systems that the customer need not adapt to especially. So the CPS adds an element of flexibility to the company's IT strategy that can lead to considerable cost savings and convenience. CPS affords companies the possibility of running new, state-of-the-art IT systems along with older legacy systems as CPS handles and orchestrates all data manipulation.

It is very easy to implement CSP from a hardware and off-the-shelf software standpoint. New investment in hardware and supporting software is limited to one server running a Windows Server 2008 R2 with an MS-SQL Server 2008 database.
